Service
A strategic review of where your case really stands
An evidence-led assessment of your case, followed by a written Strategic Case Review identifying the key issues, strengths and weaknesses, evidential gaps, recommended strategy and prioritised next steps.
Fixed fee
£495
The documents and issues included within the review will be confirmed before work begins.

Who this is for
For people who feel their case has drifted
Family court cases can lose direction. Correspondence accumulates, deadlines approach and the original objective can become buried beneath arguments, allegations and paperwork.
A Strategic Case Review brings the case back into focus. The relevant papers included within the agreed scope are reviewed, the procedural and evidential position is assessed objectively, and you receive a written strategy explaining where your case stands, what is realistically achievable and what should happen next.
Strategy before paperwork.
How Price Family Law can help
What the review covers
We review the papers included within the agreed scope and assess what they mean for your case. The purpose is not simply to summarise your documents, but to identify the issues that may influence the court's decision and the proportionate strategy required.
Document review and chronology
The orders, statements, disclosure and correspondence included within the agreed scope are reviewed and set against a single chronology.
Independent assessment
An objective view of the procedural and evidential position, including the arguments that are unlikely to assist your case.
Issues, evidence and risk
The key issues identified, with evidential strengths, weaknesses and gaps set out alongside the risks attached to each realistic route.
Written strategy
A written Strategic Case Review report you can keep, work through at your own pace or share with a solicitor or barrister.
Prioritised action plan
Recommended next steps set out in order of priority, with the deadlines that matter clearly flagged.
Follow-up strategy meeting
A follow-up meeting after you have read the review to discuss the recommendations and any questions you want to test.
What the process involves
How the review works
- 1
Scope confirmed
The documents and issues to be included within the review are agreed, and the fixed fee is confirmed in writing before work begins.
- 2
Papers provided and reviewed
You provide the papers within the agreed scope, which are then reviewed and assessed against a single chronology.
- 3
Written review delivered
You receive your written Strategic Case Review report, in plain English, within the timescale confirmed for the agreed scope.
- 4
Strategy discussed
A follow-up strategy meeting to talk through the recommendations and the prioritised next steps.
Scope
What is not included
The Strategic Case Review is an assessment and planning service. Unless separately agreed and quoted, the £495 fee does not include:
- Drafting or revising court applications, statements, schedules or court documents
- Court bundle preparation or rebuilding
- Correspondence with the court, the other party or legal representatives
- Filing or serving documents
- Advocacy, representation or hearing attendance
- Solicitor, barrister or expert advice
- Any work outside the agreed scope
If further assistance is recommended following the review, you can decide whether to undertake that work yourself or request a separate fixed-fee quotation.
What clients can expect
Direction you can act on immediately
The review brings the key information, evidence and procedural position together in one structured assessment, allowing you to understand where the case stands and make informed decisions about what to do next.
Clarity is cheaper than another hearing.
